Allah Ta\u2019ala showers His special Blessings and Mercy upon us on this great day. Every Muslim should take special care to reap the great rewards that Allah Ta\u2019ala has promised us for Jumu\u2019ah. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam has mentioned, \u201cCertainly Friday is the leader of all days. It is a day greater and more honoured by Allah Ta\u2019ala than the two Eids (Eidul-Adha and Eidul-Fitr).\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A day of Eid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One Friday, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said to the Sahaabah Radiyallahu Anhum:\u00a0\u201cO Muslims! Allah Ta&#8217;ala has made this day a day of Eid. So have a bath on this day, whoever has itr (perfume) should apply it, and also use the Miswaak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Best Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cThe best day on which the sun has risen is the day of Jumu\u2019ah. On this day, Hadhrat Aadam Alayhis Salaam was created. On this day he was granted entry into Jannah and on this very day he was removed from Jannah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Forgiveness of sins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates in another Hadith that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cThe person who makes wudhu properly and then comes for Jumu\u2019ah, listens attentively and doesn\u2019t speak during the khutbah, all the sins that he committed between this Jumu\u2019ah and the next Jumu\u2019ah plus another three days will be forgiven.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam has said, \u201cThe five daily Salaah, One Jumu\u2019ah to the next and one Ramadhaan to the next wipes out the sins committed between them so long as a person stays away from committing major sins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Reciting Surah Dukhaan on a Thursday night<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu reports that Rasululah\u00a0 Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cWhoever reads Surah Haa Meem Dukhaan on a Thursday night (Surah No. 44, Page 686), his sins will all be forgiven.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Acceptance of duas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu says that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam once mentioned about the day of Jumu\u2019ah, \u201cThere is a moment on this day wherein if a Muslim asks Allah Ta\u2019ala for anything, Allah Ta\u2019ala will grant it to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Jaabir bin Abdullah Radiyallahu Anhuma reports that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cThere are 12 moments wherein a Muslim will ask Allah Ta\u2019ala for anything and Allah Ta\u2019ala will grant it to him. Look for this special moment in the last part of the day after the Asar Salaah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Faatima Radiyallahu Anha, the daughter of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam, used to be very particular of this blessed time. Her servant use to inform her of the time just before sunset. She would then leave all her duties and become engrossed in dua and repentance to Allah Ta\u2019ala.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sunnats of the Day of Jumu\u2019ah<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To wake up early.<\/li>\n<li>To have a bath.<\/li>\n<li>To apply oil on one\u2019s head.<\/li>\n<li>To apply itr (males only).<\/li>\n<li>To make miswaak.<\/li>\n<li>To wear clean clothes.<\/li>\n<li>To remove unwanted hair.<\/li>\n<li>To clip the finger and toe nails.<\/li>\n<li>To recite abundant durood shareef.<\/li>\n<li>To recite Surah Kahaf.<\/li>\n<li>To go early to the masjid. (males only)<\/li>\n<li>To go walking to the masjid.<\/li>\n<li>Burn some incense like \u2019Ood on a Thursday night at home.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Reward for walking to the Masjid (Males only)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said: \u201cWhoever takes Ghusl (bath) on a Friday, goes early to the masjid, sits close to the Imaam and listens attentively to him, then for every step he takes, he will\u00a0be rewarded with the reward of fasting for one year and performing salaah for one year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Virtue of reading Surah Kahaf on a Friday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat \u2018Ali Radiyallahu Anhu says that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cWhoever reads Surah Kahaf on a Friday will be saved from all fitnahs (trials and difficulties) for 8 days. Even if Dajjal had to appear, he will be protected from him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Sa\u2018eed\u00a0 Khudri Radiyallahu Anhu reports that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cWhoever recites Surah Kahaf on a Friday, a special nur (light) will be illuminated from beneath his feet till the skies which will be a means of brightness for him on the day of Qiyaamah, and he will be forgiven between the two Jumuahs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Warning for not attending Jumu\u2019ah Salaah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is reported from Hadhrat Ibn Umar Radiyallahu Anhu that he heard Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam saying, \u201cPeople should stop leaving out Jumu\u2019ah or else Allah Ta\u2019ala will seal their hearts. They will then be counted among the neglectful.\u201d (Muslim)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another Hadith it is mentioned that if a Muslim misses out three Jumu\u2019ahs in a row, he will become a disbeliever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Recitation of Durood Shareef<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the rewarding acts to be done on the Day of Jumu\u2019ah is the excessive recitation of durood shareef. Every Muslim should, to the best of their ability, recite as much durood shareef as possible on the day of Jumu\u2019ah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Aws bin Aws As Saqafi Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cRecite durood upon me in abundance on a Friday. Indeed your durood shareef is presented to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another Hadith, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam has said: \u201cRecite Durood Shareef in abundance upon me during the eve (Thursday night) and the day of Jumu\u2019ah. Whosoever does so, I will be his witness and will intercede for him on the day of Qiyaamah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>80 years of sins forgiven<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam has said, \u201cOne who recites the following Durood Shareef after Asar Salaah on a Friday, without moving from his place, will have 80 years of his sins forgiven and he will receive the reward of 80 years ibaadah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>\u0623\u064e\u0644\u0644\u0651\u0670\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u0650 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u0670\u0649 \u0633\u064e\u064a\u0650\u0651\u062f\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0645\u064f\u062d\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u062f\u0650 \u06e8\u0627\u0644\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0628\u0650\u064a\u0651\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0627\u064f\u0645\u0651\u0650\u064a\u0650\u0651 \u0648\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u0670\u0649 \u0627\u0670\u0644\u0650\u0647\u0656 \u0648\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0644\u0650\u0651\u0645\u0652 \u062a\u064e\u0633\u0652\u0644\u0650\u064a\u0652\u0645\u064b\u0627<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<strong>A Palace in Jannah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is mentioned in a Hadith, that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cOne who recites Durood Shareef 1000 times on a Friday will most certainly see his palace in Jannah before his death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Hundred needs fulfilled<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Anas Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said, \u201cWhoever recites durood on me on a Friday, or on a Thursday night, for him Allah Ta\u2019ala shall fulfil one hundred of his needs.
