{"id":2325,"date":"2020-04-11T19:33:16","date_gmt":"2020-04-11T19:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/talimiboardkzn.org\/?p=2325"},"modified":"2020-04-11T19:33:16","modified_gmt":"2020-04-11T19:33:16","slug":"virtues-of-a-person-whose-death-is-caused-by-a-plague","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/talimiboardkzn.org\/?p=2325","title":{"rendered":"Virtues of a Person whose Death is caused by a Plague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Hadith No. 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam said, \u201cWho do you regard as a shaheed among you?\u201d The Sahaabah (radiyallahu anhum) replied, \u201cOne who is killed in the path of Allah Ta\u2019ala is a Shaheed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam said, \u201cIn that case, the Shuhadaa in my ummah will be very few in number.\u201d The Sahaabah (radiyallahu anhum) then asked, \u201cWho are they, O Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam?\u201d Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam said,<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>One who is killed in the path of Allah Ta\u2019ala is a shaheed,<\/li>\n<li><strong>One who dies in a plague is a shaheed, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>One who dies due to a stomach ailment is a shaheed,<\/li>\n<li>One who drowns is a shaheed,<\/li>\n<li>(and in one narration) One who is killed due to a building collapsing on him is a shaheed.\u201d <em>[Muslim #1914]<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>WHAT IS THE REWARD OF A SHAHEED?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Hadith No. 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Abu Darda radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam has said, \u201cA Shaheed will intercede on behalf of 70 people from his household.\u201d <em>[Abu Dawood #2522] <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Hadith No. 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Miqdaad ibn Ma\u2019di Karib radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam has said, \u201cFor a Shaheed, there are six blessings from Allah Ta\u2019ala.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>He is forgiven immediately.<\/li>\n<li>He is shown his abode in Jannah.<\/li>\n<li>He is saved from the punishment of the grave.<\/li>\n<li>He will be saved from the horrific terror (on the day of Qiyamah).<\/li>\n<li>He will be made to wear a crown of honour. One emerald on this crown is worth more than the entire world and its contents.<\/li>\n<li>He will be made to marry 72 wives from the <em>hoor-e-een.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 <em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>[Tirmizi #1663]<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Hadith No. 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Masrooq (rahmatullahi alayh) says that we asked Abdullah Ibn Mas\u2019ood radiyallahu anhu about the aayah <em>\u201cDo not think that those who have been killed in the path of Allah Ta\u2019ala are dead. Rather they are alive and they are sustained by their Rabb.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ibn Mas\u2019ood radiyallahu anhu replied, \u201cWe had also asked the same question. Their souls are placed in the bodies of green birds. For them will be chandeliers hanging from the arsh. They will move about in Jannah wherever they wish. Thereafter they will rest on those chandeliers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Their Rabb will then announce to them, \u2018Do you wish for anything?\u2019 They will say, \u2018Is there anything more that we can wish for as we move about freely in Jannah.\u2019 Allah Ta\u2019ala will ask them three times. When they will see that Allah Ta\u2019ala will continue asking they will say, \u2018O Allah we wish that our souls be returned to our bodies, so that we will be killed in your path another time.\u2019 When Allah Ta\u2019ala will see that they do not have any need, He will leave them.\u201d <em>[Muslim #1887] <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Hadith No. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadhrat Anas radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam has said, \u201cThere is no person who, after he dies and enters into Jannah, will wish to go back into the world, except a Shaheed, even though he has no possessions in this world.
