Imaani Muzaakarah

Imaani Muzaakarah2019-07-31T09:31:27+00:00

In this Imaani Muzaakarah, the need is to keep on repeating. Repetition will Insha-Allah bring conviction.

Line 1: The first line is, “I will look after Allah’s commands and Allah will look after me and be with me.”

The child has to be convinced that protection lies in Allah’s commands. In Allah’s commands I will find Allah. I cannot afford to move away from Salaah, the Masjid, the Qur’aan and the Maktab in times of difficulty.

Line 2: The second line is, “If I need anything, I will ask Allah Alone, and turn to Allah Alone for help.”

At the time of need and help, I should be turning to and asking Allah. Today we are only turning to the means and asking the creation; completely forgetting our creator, Allah.

Line 3: The third line is, “The whole world cannot help me or hurt me, without the permission of Allah.”

This conviction has to settle deep in the heart, that every condition of benefit or harm, is only with Allah’s permission. Illness does not decide on its own who to go to and how to go. Allah is controlling and deciding.

Line 4: The fourth line is, “What’s not written for me, will never come to me. And what came to me, could never miss me.”

We believe in Taqdeer, Allah’s divine decision, perfect planning, having complete knowledge of everything. When we forget this, we end up questioning and blaming others. A man after adopting all the means, still falls sick, so he asks, “How come I fell sick?” In reality he completely forgot Allah. His question ought to have been, “How come I forgot Allah?”

What is desired from this Imaani Muzaakarah is that when anything happens, our minds and hearts should immediately turn to Allah.

المالك Al-Malik: The Ruler

المالك Al-Malik: The Ruler

Our beloved Rabb, Allah Ta’ala is the King of all kings and the Ruler over all rulers. Kings, presidents and ministers in this world are all under the rule of Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta’ala rules the entire world, what we can see and what we cannot see. Kings and presidents only rule over their little countries and that too, they do not have total control over everyone and everything. They have no control over the fish, birds, ants, animals, etc. Allah Ta’ala rules over the entire creation, the humans, the animals, the birds and the fish. We need to obey Allah Ta’ala alone as He is the ruler in this world and in the hereafter.

الله – Allah: is the greatest name of our Beloved Creator

“Allah” is the greatest name of our beloved Creator. The name “Allah” is exclusively only for Allah. No one else can have the name “Allah”. The name “Allah” is so easy and light on the tongue, and so relaxing and pleasing to the heart. Let us try to always keep the beautiful name of “Allah” on our tongue and encourage our family and friends to do the same.

الرحمان – Ar Rahmaan: The Most Compassionate

Our beloved Creator, Allah Ta’ala is full of kindness and gentleness, full of pity and sympathy. If anything happens to us, if we get hurt or we lose something, then our compassionate merciful Allah Ta’ala is always there for us. All we need to do is turn to Allah Ta’ala, have hope in Allah Ta’ala and don’t ever forget our Allah. With the compassion and mercy of Allah Ta’ala, every difficulty becomes easy.

اَلْبَارِئُ – Al Baari’ : The Originator

اَلْبَارِئُ – Al Baari’ : The Originator

  • Allah Ta’ala is the one who brings things into existence.
  • Allah Ta’ala alone brings things from non-existence into existence.
  • There was nothing and Allah Ta’ala made everything.
  • We need bricks, windows and doors to make a small house. But Allah Ta’ala does not need anything to make the entire world. Without a drop, Allah Ta’ala made the oceans. Without a leaf, Allah Ta’ala made the trees. Without sand Allah Ta’ala made the mountains.
  • Allah Ta’ala alone brings things from non-existence into existence, with wisdom and perfection.

Dear Ustaaz / Apa

Explain this quality of Allah Ta’ala to the children and make them understand that Allah Ta’ala creates without any raw material

المصور – Al Musowwir: The Fashioner / Designer

Allah Ta’ala alone fashions and shapes everything to perfection and full of beauty. When Allah Ta’ala created us, He created us with perfection. Allah Ta’ala did not give us a long giraffe neck or a small chicken leg or a long elephant nose or sharp crocodile teeth. Allah Ta’ala shaped us perfect and beautiful. No one can change us or improve on us. Allah Ta’ala alone fashions and shapes things as He wishes. Look and admire the creation of Allah Ta’ala and enjoy the beauty and perfection of His creation. This will bring alive in us the recognition and appreciation of our Allah.

Imaani Muzakarah

If I look after Allah’s commands, Allah Ta’ala will look after me and will be with me
If I need anything, I must ask Allah Ta’ala alone and turn to Allah Ta’ala alone for help
The whole world cannot hurt me or help me without the permission of Allah Ta’ala
Allah Ta’ala created me, He owns me, feeds me and takes care of me

العزيز – Al-Azeez: The Mighty / The Strong

All might and strength belong to Allah Ta’ala alone. Nothing and no one can stand in front of Allah Ta’ala. If Allah Ta’ala wants, in one second He can crush the whole world. We are so small and weak, what will happen to us? Therefore, we should fear and obey ALLAH TA’ALA Who is Most Strong.

اَلسَّلَامُ – As Salaam: The Giver of Peace

اَلسَّلَامُ – As Salaam: The Giver of Peace

Who gives us peace? Only Allah Ta’ala gives us peace.

Money cannot buy peace. Holidays cannot give us peace. Allah Ta’ala alone gives us peace. A soft bed cannot give us a peaceful sleep. Allah Ta’ala alone gives us a peaceful sleep. When brother and sister fight or mother and father stop speaking to each other, then only Allah Ta’ala can make peace between them. The haraam T.V. and video games cannot bring peace in the home. Music cannot bring peace. Allah Ta’ala alone brings peace in our homes. Turn to Allah Ta’ala alone for peace.

Whenever you are worried and want peace read: يَا سَلَامُ (Ya-Salaamu) in abundance.

One Advice: As Muslims we have to always guard our tongues. No swearing! No teasing! No lying! Every word we speak is written down by the angels. We do not use a toothbrush to shine our shoes and then use the same toothbrush to brush our teeth. In the same way how can we use our tongues for dirty words and then the same tongues to take the pure name of Allah Ta’ala. Let us learn the lesson, “Think before we speak.”

اَلْقُدُّوْسُ – Al Quddoos: The Most Pure/ Free from all faults

اَلْقُدُّوْسُ – Al Quddoos: The Most Pure: Free from all faults

Who is the most pure? Allah Ta’ala is Most Pure.

Who is free from all faults? Allah Ta’ala is free from all faults.

Sometimes we are good and sometimes we are bad. Our actions are mixed up in good and in bad. Our Allah Ta’ala is completely pure, not mixed up with any bad.

We are very weak. We forget and we make mistakes all the time. We are full of faults. Our Allah Ta’ala is free from all faults. Our Allah Ta’ala never forgets and never makes mistakes.

We must love our Allah Ta’ala who has not a single fault. He is Al-Quddoos, The Most Pure, Free from all faults.

ُاَلشَّكُوْر Ash Shakoor – Allah Ta’ala is Very Thankful / Very Appreciative

ُاَلشَّكُوْر Ash Shakoor – Allah Ta’ala is Very Thankful / Very Appreciative

Our Allah Ta’ala is the Most Appreciative. He appreciates everything we do for Him. Even if we do a little for Allah Ta’ala, our Kind and Loving Allah Ta’ala appreciates it, becomes happy with us and gives us much, much more.

But when it comes to friends, even if we do everything for them, they do not appreciate what we do for them and are never happy with us. They always want more and more from us. It’s so hard to keep everyone happy, but it is so easy to keep our One Allah Ta’ala happy.

So let us keep on doing only for Allah Ta’ala and spending only for Allah Ta’ala and He will always appreciate whatever we do for Him and in return will always give us much more.

الرزاق – Ar Razzaaiq: The Provider

الرزاق – Ar Razzaaiq: The Provider

Who feed us? Who feeds our parents? Who feeds the fish in the sea? Who feeds the birds in the sky? Who feeds the ants in the ground?

The fish are swimming and Allah Ta’ala is feeding them. They don’t go to school and university. Allah ta’ala does not need schools and universities. The grade 12 metric certificate and the university degree does not give us food. Allah Ta’ala alone feeds us. The birds are flying in the sky. They don’t have shops and jobs. Allah Ta’ala feeds them. Shops and jobs can’t feed us. Allah Ta’ala alone feeds us. Allah Ta’ala knows how many potatoes we are going to eat and how much milk we are going to drink. No one can change it. Whatever we need, we should ask Allah Alone. Only Allah Ta’ala can provide us with our needs.

مَالِكُ الْمُلْكِ – Maalikul Mulk: The Owner of the Kingdom

مَالِكُ الْمُلْكِ – Maalikul Mulk: The Owner of the Kingdom

Allah Ta’ala is the owner of everything. Allah Ta’ala owns the entire world. Nothing belongs to us. Everything belongs to Allah Ta’ala. Our house, our car, our clothes, our parents, all belong to Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta’ala can take it away whenever He wants. Therefore we must use everything as Allah Ta’ala wants from us.
When our cousins come home for a holiday, they sleep in our room, play with our toys and eat in our kitchen. After the holiday they don’t take our room, our toys and our kitchen with them to their homes, because it does not belong to them. In the same way when we die, we don’t take our house, our car and our clothes with us into our graves, because it doesn’t belong to us. Everything belongs to Allah Ta’ala. America, Africa, Australia and Asia all belong to Allah Ta’ala. The sun, the moon, the stars, the planets all belong to Allah Ta’ala. We all belong to Allah Ta’ala. We live for Allah Ta’ala, we die for Allah Ta’ala and one day we will all return to Allah Ta’ala.
Advice for the children
Listening to Nazams: If a nazam, nasheed or naat has the singing style of music, then it is haraam to listen to such a nazam. If a nazam has any background music then too this nazam is haraam to listen to. Today most of the nazams have become singing and music. How disrespectful they are! They use the pure name of Allah Ta’ala and Nabi Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam to make dirty music. Most of the time radio stations play musical singing haraam nazams. May Allah Ta’ala protect us from listening to them and let us remind others as well.

الحفيظ – Al Hafeez: The Protector

الحفيظ – Al Hafeez: The Protector

If Allah Ta’ala protects us, nothing can harm us.

Usually we hear of jinnaat and jadu, and we get scared. But as a Muslim we forgot Allah Ta’ala. We need to turn to Allah Ta’ala for protection. Read our Salaah, Quran, Zikr and Duas. Insha Allah Allah Ta’ala will protect us.

Today there is a lot of stealing, hijacking and killing. Once again we need to turn to Allah Ta’ala for protection. No doubt we put the best alarm system, strongest burglar guard, we keep a gun and we have the police’s number, but we forgot Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta’ala is our protector.

Many car accidents take place. When we sit in a car we do not know if we will come alive or not. Keep turning to Allah Ta’ala for protection. Ask Allah to take us safely and to return us home safely.

Remember, Allah Ta’ala is The Protector

العليم – Al ‘Aleem: The All Knowing

العليم – Al ‘Aleem: The All Knowing

Allah alone knows everything. He knows the past, the present and the future. Allah Ta’ala knows all that is in the sky, beneath the earth, in the depths of the deep blue ocean. Allah Ta’ala knows how many leaves on the trees, how many drops of rain fall from the sky and how many grains of sand on the earth. We look in the mirror everyday but we don’t know how many strands of hair on our head. Allah Ta’ala knows how many strands there are, how long each strand is, how many fell off and how many still to grow. Allah Ta’ala knows how heavy the mountains are and how many litres of water in the sea. Allah Ta’ala knows what is in our hearts. At times we smile on the outside, but inside we hate the person we are smiling at. Allah Ta’ala knows our thoughts. At times we are in Salaah but our minds are at home or playing with the friends or eating or drinking.

FOOD: Muslims only eat halaal food, no haraam food. If we eat even one morsel of haraam, for 40 days our duaas are not accepted.

Our meat and chicken must be bought from a Muslim butchery or Muslim supermarket, and not from Spar, Checkers, Shoprite, Pick N Pay etc. since these are not run by Muslims.

Don’t just eat from any place that has a halaal sign. Check up first. If there is a halaal sign on a beer bottle, this does not make it halaal.

Many sticky, jelly sweets have gelatine, pig fat.

Be CAREFUL. Eat only what is Halaal and stay away from Haraam

البصير – Al Baseer:The All Seeing

البصير – Al Baseer:The All Seeing

Our Imaani Muzaakarh for this term is Al-Baseer. (Allah is All Seeing)

Ask the pupils, “Who can see us all the time?” Their answer must be “Allah Ta’ala”.

Say to them, “We are very weak. If we look in front of us, we cannot see what is behind us, and if someone puts a sheet of paper before our eyes, then we will not be able to see what is in front as well. Our Allah Ta’ala sees everything. Nothing can hide from Allah Ta’ala, even if we are inside our home, inside our room, under our bed, under our blanket, Allah Ta’ala is watching us all the time.”

We in South Africa cannot see with our eyes what is happening in Malawi. Allah Ta’ala can see all the countries and cities of the world at one time. We cannot see in the dark, we need light. Our Allah Ta’ala can see the small black ant under the big black rock in a pitch black night with no need for any light. We get tired. Our eyes close and we sleep. If we try to stay awake, then we will start catching fish, our eyes will keep on closing and our heads will keep on falling. Our Allah Ta’ala is always watching us. Our Allah Ta’ala never gets tired and never ever sleeps. Before we do anything or before we go anywhere we must remind our self that our Allah Ta’ala is always watching us.

السميع – As Samee’: The All Hearing

السميع – As Samee‘: The All Hearing

Ask the class, who can hear all the things all the time?…..Allah Ta’ala!

We can listen to only 1 person at a time. If two people speak to us at one time, we’ll listen ½ ½ and if 3 or more people speak to us at one time, its noise, we can’t understand them. But our beloved Allah Ta’ala can listen and understand billions of humans all at one time.

We understand English, maybe some understand Afrikaans, Zulu, Urdu, Arabic, Gujraati but our Allah Ta’ala understands all the languages of the world; Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Swahili, Bangali.

We understand only the humans. But our Allah Ta’ala understands the animals as well; the monkeys and donkeys, birds and snakes, bulls and lions.

We can hear near, not far. For e.g. we can hear what’s happening in the madrasah if we are in the madrasah. We can’t sit at home and say we’ll listen from there. But for Allah Ta’ala near and far is all the same.

For us to hear something loud is easy and something soft is difficult. But for Allah Ta’ala loud and soft is all the same. Allah Ta’ala can even hear us when we whisper.

Therefore, make a strong intention, no more lying, swearing, backbiting, carrying tales because our Allah Ta’ala is hearing us all the time.

الخالق – Al Khaaliq: The Creator

الخالق – Al Khaaliq: The Creator

Allah Ta’ala created the animals on the land, the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky. Everything that we can see and even that which we cannot see is created by Allah Ta’ala.

A tailor cannot sew a cloak or a kurta with the lights switched off. A shoe maker cannot make a shoe inside a shoe box. But our Allah Ta’ala created us inside our Mummy, full of darkness, no light, no space.

For us to make a small house is easy, but to make a big city is difficult. For Allah Ta’ala to create a small ant is easy and to create a big elephant is also easy.

Allah Ta’ala created the day so we can work and the night so we can sleep.

Allah Ta’ala created trees to give us fruit, bees to give us honey, cows to give us milk, sheep to give us meat, fowls to give us eggs, Allah Ta’ala created everything to work for us and Allah Ta’ala created us to work for Him, to worship Him.

الغفار – Al Ghaffaar: The Most Forgiving

الغفار The Most Forgiving

Our Allah Ta’ala is full of forgiveness. We get tired sinning but our Allah Ta’ala doesn’t get tired of forgiving us. Imagine you are playing outside in the rain and you slipped and fell in some mud. Your face, hands and clothes are full of mud, and you are feeling all muddy and dirty. But then your mummy comes and picks you up, washes you, cleans you and puts on clean clothes for you, now you feel all clean and nice again. So do not forget! How mud makes us dirty on the outside, sins makes us dirty on the inside. Sins make our heart dark and dirty. Every time we sin, a black spot comes on our heart. If we don’t turn to Allah Ta’ala in forgiveness, our whole heart becomes covered in black. Then we become lazy to do good deeds like performing salaah, reading Qur-aan, we don’t want to listen to our parents, we only want to do bad deeds. Therefore, every day we must turn to Allah Ta’ala and ask Him for forgiveness saying “ASTAGH–FIRULLAAH”  (O Allah please forgive me) Insha Allah  Allah Ta’ala will clean us and forgive us for ever.

LOW PAN TOILET

For the Teacher:

Ask the class, “How many of you use the low pan toilet?” Tell them that it’s the best, cleanest and most natural way of relieving oneself. It’s the Sunnah way. When you squat and sit down to relieve yourself nothing gets stuck in your tummy. The high pan is called “One for you, one for me!” Every time you drop, you get splashed with No.1. If we are forced to use it, then first put toilet paper over the water to save your self from the splashes. There’s very big punishment in the grave if we are not careful. We must learn how to use the low pan toilet. The secret in using this toilet is not to lower the pants below the knees, rather it must stop half way between the waist and knee. Let us try and bring alive this great sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

الرحيم – Ar-Raheem: The Most Merciful

الرحيم – Ar-Raheem: The Most Merciful

Repeat …. الرحيم – Allah Ta’ala is Most Merciful.” Our Allah Ta’ala is full of mercy.

  • Mummy has mercy for her baby. She won’t leave the baby to cry.
  • The mother cat has mercy for her baby kittens. She won’t leave them to die.
  • Now, if we put all the mercy of all the mothers of this world together, then our Allah’s mercy for us is still so much more.

Imagine it is a boiling hot day and you are standing in the burning hot sun roasting away. Suddenly a huge cloud comes and shades you and then a cool breeze blows and cools you down. How nice don’t you feel? In the same way, sometimes our life goes up side down, we feel bad, we feel sad. But then we remember our Allah again and we turn to Him. Straightaway our Allah’s mercy comes showering down upon us and covers us up and we feel good all over again.

Repeat  à “الرحيم Allah Ta’ala is Most Merciful.”

Ask the class, “From today if anyone has to ask you, ‘What do you want to become?’……. What must you say?”  [Listen to all the replies the children give]

Thereafter say to them, “You must say, I want to become a Five Times Namaazi!” Then explain to them that to become a Haafiz is easy, 3 years…….. To become a Moulana is easy 6 years……… But to become a Five Times Namaazi, it will take 50 years, 60 years, 70 years …… depends how long we live.

القوي – Al Qawi: The All Powerful

القوي Al Qawi – The All Powerful

All power and strength belongs to Allah Ta’ala alone. Allah Ta’ala has the power to do anything at any time. No army, no police force, no fighter jet can ever stop Allah Ta’ala. All cartoon characters and movie actors are fake and imitation. They are not real and are all made up. They cannot do anything. Allah Ta’ala alone is full of power and might.

All children please repeat: Allah Ta’ala is Qawi. Allah Ta’ala is all Powerful.

Story:  There was a magician showing people how he could take out the head of a person and then put it back, bringing the dead back to life. The people watching were all surprised and praised him for giving life to a dead person. Hadhrat Jundub (radi Allahu anhu), a Sahaabi happened to be there. He took out his sword and killed the magician immediately, saying, “If he can give life to the dead, he can give life to himself as well.”

It was necessary to kill the magician to save the people’s Imaan.  The people may believe that he has the power to give life to the dead which is not true.

Today also, there are many magicians having magic shows.

Most of them work with Jinnaat and Shaytaan.

They do dirty things to make shaytaan happy and he in turn helps them to do black magic.

We must not get carried away and feel that magicians have special powers.

It is Haraam to do black magic.

We must read Surah Falaq, Surah Naas, and Aayatul Kursi everyday for our protection.

الودود- Al Wadood: Allah Ta’ala is most Loving

الودود – Al Wadood: Allah Ta’ala is most Loving

Make the class repeat a few times, “I love Allah; Allah loves me.” Then explain to them, “our mummy loves us, but our Allah loves us more. Our mummy does not hurt us, and our Allah will never ever hurt us. Sometimes mummy hits us to correct us. In the same way whatever happens in our life, is because Allah loves us and wants us to become better servants.” Make them repeat again “I love Allah; Allah loves me.”
