The Mubaarak Month of Ramadhaan

Muhtaram Ulama / Muallimaat

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu

Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah Ta’ala, we are on the doorstep of the mubaarak month of Ramadhaan. May Allah Ta’ala bless us all with the barakaat and blessings of this mubaarak month.

In order to create an environment of Ramadhaan in our maktabs, we should try and encourage the children to fast, perform Taraaweeh, make tilaawat of the Qur-aan Shareef and zikrullah daily. In order to encourage them we have attached some activities for the children which may asisst them to uphold this pillar of Islam.

Please find attached….

  1. Al-Maktab Newsletter (Topic: The Month of Ramadhaan)
  2. Ramadhaan Fasting chart (For Grade R,1 and 2 learners)
  3. Maamoolaat form for senior students (Grade 3 upwards)
  4. Chart of 70 000 Kalimah Tayyibah
  5. Chart of 100 000 Istighfaar

Please print these attachments and hand them out to the pupils before Ramadhaan. Discuss each chart with the pupils and show them how to fill it in.

Also encourage the pupils in Grade 5,6 and 7 to try and complete one khatam of the Qur-aan Shareef during Ramadhaan.

At the end of Ramadhaan, prizes can be given to those younger pupils (grade 1,2,3) who kept all their fasts and senior pupils who completed one khatam of the Qur-aan Shareef.

May Allah Ta’ala bless us all with an accepted Ramadhaan and give us all the taufeeq (ability) to spend our time correctly in the ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala during this blessed month.

The Importance of Ta’leem at Home

Bismihi Ta’ala

A Muslim home is not a place where there are only frames with Aayats of the Qur-aan, Ahaadith or Arabic inscriptions on them or a Kalimah sticker on the front of the door or some taweez’s hung up here and there. A Muslim home is really a place in which 5 ti […]

المالك Al-Malik: The Ruler

المالك Al-Malik: The Ruler

Our beloved Rabb, Allah Ta’ala is the King of all kings and the Ruler over all rulers. Kings, presidents and ministers in this world are all under the rule of Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta’ala rules the entire world, what we can see and what we cannot see. Kings and presidents only rule over their little countries and that too, they do not have total control over everyone and everything. They have no control over the fish, birds, ants, animals, etc. Allah Ta’ala rules over the entire creation, the humans, the animals, the birds and the fish. We need to obey Allah Ta’ala alone as He is the ruler in this world and in the hereafter.
