Extra Mural Activities – A pandemic for the Maktab
Question: Respected Moulana. I am teaching now in a maktab for a few decades. Over the years, things have changed drastically in our entire maktab system. I need some advice on one issue in particular.
I have many pupils in my class participating in extra-mural activities at school. They play sports like cricket, hockey and rugby and are late or absent from class at least twice a week. This has retarded their progress tremendously. I have spoken to them on several occasions and even threatened to expel them from Madrasah if they do not come, but nothing seems to affect them in any way.
Alhumdulillah, our audio links are now working once again. If anyone is still experiencing any issue, please let us know.
JazakAllah and sorry for the inconvenience

الحفيظ – Al Hafeez: The Protector
الحفيظ – Al Hafeez: The Protector
If Allah Ta’ala protects us, nothing can harm us.
Usually we hear of jinnaat and jadu, and we get scared. But as a Muslim we forgot Allah Ta’ala. We need to turn to Allah Ta’ala for protection. Read our Salaah, Quran, Zikr and Duas. Insha Allah Allah Ta’ala will protect us.
Today there is a lot of stealing, hijacking and killing. Once again we need to turn to Allah Ta’ala for protection. No doubt we put the best alarm system, strongest burglar guard, we keep a gun and we have the police’s number, but we forgot Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta’ala is our protector.
Many car accidents take place. When we sit in a car we do not know if we will come alive or not. Keep turning to Allah Ta’ala for protection. Ask Allah to take us safely and to return us home safely.
Remember, Allah Ta’ala is The Protector
